The KSAND Foundation Supports One Golden Wheat Award to a Kansas Business

The goal of the Golden Wheat Award is to recognize a Kansas business or individual whose actions align with KSAND’s and KSANDF’s mission to accelerate improvements in state-wide health and well-being through food and nutrition.

Submissions Due: March 20, 2024

Criteria for Selection

  • Potential recipients can be businesses, healthcare facilities, or individuals
  • Potential recipients contributes the following characteristics to their area of practice through specific business practices, special programs, services, etc., that have made a positive impact on Kansans:
    • Highlight the importance of nutrition and health
    • Improve healthcare by providing goods and/or services that benefit Kansans
    • Hire or promote dietitians as the primary resource for sound nutrition information
