Consumers have a heightened interest in how food is produced, including curiosity about animal welfare and sustainability. Understanding how modern meat, dairy, poultry, and eggs are produced can help feed consumers’ hunger for transparency, positioning you, a Kansas nutrition expert, as an even greater expert on food!

The Animal Ag Allies program was developed to empower those fielding questions about food and farming to be outspoken advocates online and within their communities. Participants will learn more about each sector of animal agriculture, where to find more resources, how topics and emerging issues – including animal welfare, antibiotic use, and sustainability – and how to address those issues with consumers.
