Each year, the Kansas Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation (KSANDF) selects a deserving individual for the Distinguished Dietitian of the Year (DDY), Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year (RYDY), Emerging Dietetic Leader (EDL) and Recognized Dietetic Technician of the Year (RDTY). Below you may download forms used to nominate individuals. The deadline for nominations is early February, 2021, so please take a moment and nominate individuals by emailing Amber Howells at Awardschair@eatrightks.org. All applications and supporting materials are due early February, 2021.
Additionally, KSANDF is eager to share money. If you know of a deserving student – please encourage them to apply! Student scholarship applications for the Vaden and McCollum scholarships are below. Practicing dietitians who are members of the Academy’s Dietetics in Health Care Communities DPG can apply for the DHCC Scholarships which support continuing education opportunities. The deadline for scholarship applications is also early February, 2021.
