This person is being recognized because…

Short Bio…
Anne has been a Registered Dietitian in Kansas for the Johnson County Department of Health & Environment for the last fourteen years, with ten years in the WIC program focusing on prenatal nutrition and gestational diabetes.
Since 2019, she has been in the Community Health Division focusing on the Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP), the Healthy Heart Ambassadors Program (HHA) and other community nutrition-related things that come my way.
Throughout this time, she has also been a preceptor for several local universities. Working with students, graduate students, and interns (which she loves). She finds herself fortunate to have met so many fabulous soon-to-be dietitians because every single one has ended up facilitating change in herself by teaching her something along the way!
